The 9-Step Process to ensure our Bath Resurfacing is to Jim's Standard
Step 1: The bath is pre-cleaned
Step 2: The surrounding area is thoroughly protected
Step 3: Chips and scratches are repaired
Step 4: Primer is applied
Step 5: The Ultraglaze coating is applied
Step 6: The coating is baked under infrared light for 2-3 hours
Step 7: The bath is polished
Step 8: All seams are sealed
Step 9: We can fit a new chrome or gold waste
Step 1 The bath surface is pre-cleaned
The pre-cleaners effectively clean and sterilise the old surface of your bath with two specially formulated cleaners-designed to cover the full pH spectrum, leaving the surface perfectly clean. We do not use strong acids or grinding to achieve this.

Step 2 The surrounding area is thoroughly protected
The area surrounding your bath will be expertly protected, so there is no risk to any of the surrounding areas. We only want our material applied to the item we are working on.

Step 3 Chips and scratches are repaired
Any existing chips or scratches are repaired-you'll never see any evidence of previous damage. You know, a bath could have dozens of chips on it, and by the time we're finished, you'd never know they were there.

Step 4 Primer is applied
The unique primer 'chemically welds' the Ultraglaze coating to your old bath surface. This amazingly strong bond is far superior to that achieved from acid etching and in addition, causes no damage to your bath.

Step 5 The Ultraglaze coating is applied
The unique Ultraglaze coating is applied, giving your bath a strong and durable surface, one that's not susceptible to the yellowing, dulling, cracking and peeling caused by using inferior epoxy coatings.

Step 6 The coating is baked under infrared light for 2-3 hours
A 'laminating' effect is achieved by the use of high frequency infrared energy which bakes the coating onto the bath to provide a polishable surface from as little as 2-3 hours. You can choose from a huge range of colours.

Step 7 The bath is polished
Since your bathroom does not have a controlled atmosphere, we take the extra step of polishing the new bath surface after baking to ensure that no dust particles remain on the bath.

Step 8 All seams are sealed
After polishing, the job is almost done-the bath is all sealed off around the edges to prevent any water leakage. The whole job will be finished the same day!

Step 9 We can fit a new chrome or gold waste
A corroded waste outlet will only detract from the job, and being next to impossible to remove, we can fit a brand new waste cap over the top to go with your fantastic looking bath. You can choose from chrome or gold.
And of course, to keep your bath looking great with a resurfacing that lasts for years, we carry out each of these steps to strict standards.
But best of all, you'll get a 7-year guarantee on our work, so there's really no reason to delay having your bath resurfaced any longer!
